Partner John Macoretta has been actively involved in representing homeowners facing foreclosure. Mr. Macoretta is part of Philadelphia's groundbreaking Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Project, which requires lenders to try to reach a compromise with homeowners before a house can be sold at sheriff's sale. SRKW has received the Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor's Award in recognition of its pro bono service. Mr. Macoretta appeared briefly on the CBS evening news as a part of a story about Philadelphia's efforts to help homeowners stay in their homes.
