SRKW receives Chancellor's Award for pro bono work on behalf of homeowners facing foreclosure

John Macoretta and Jonathan Jagher have been actively involved in representing homeowners facing foreclosure. They are part of Philadelphia's groundbreaking Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Project, which requires lenders to try to reach a compromise with homeowners before a house can be sold at sheriff's sale. SRKW has received the 2009 and 2010 Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor's Awards in recognition of its pro bono service. Mr. Macoretta appeared briefly on the CBS evening news as a part of a story about Philadelphia's efforts to help homeowners stay in their homes. Click here to watch the video. Mr. Macoretta noted that SRKW is proud to assist homeowners in this way.
