SRKW filed a lawsuit alleging that General Motors breached its warranties on 2007 and 2008 Chevrolet Impalas due to a defective spindle rod (a part in the rear suspension) which causes the tires to be misaligned and wear very prematurely. GM was aware of the problem, and agreed to honor its warranty by fixing the defect for no charge on police cars, but has refused to fix the same defect for all other Impala owners. SRKW is one of three firms which filed a complaint in Federal Court in Detroit, Michigan charging General Motors with a breach of its various warranties on these Impala models. If you own one of these cars or want more information you can contact SRKW partners Jeffrey Kodroff or John Macoretta. Click here for a copy of the complaint.
